Painter/Drywaller (Tigard, OR)

For over 25 years, Horizon Restoration has been providing Mitigation and Construction services throughout the Pacific Northwest. Must be able to perform prep and intermediate painting duties and have a diverse background in the painting field. Must be able to perform different physical tasks which require standing, stooping, bending, lifting, climbing on ladders, working from a roof and other high places. Must provide and maintain the minimum tools required for each level (see tool list by level.)
Individual must report to work on time, and must maintain proper work uniform at all times during working hours.
Each individual is responsible for his/her own timesheet. These must be filled out daily with documentation in detail (what you did at each job). Painter must have a valid driver's license, pass a drug test, and work safely at all times. Employee must be able to complete warehouse order forms, safety meeting sheets, supply requisitions, vehicle sheets, and equipment repair forms.
Duties include but are not limited to brushing, rolling, caulking, filling and patching woodwork, repairing and texturing drywall, masking and covering for paint. Moving and resetting furniture. A lead painter must be familiar with ladder placement and safety guidelines. Be proficient in the operation of Airless sprayers, including the cleaning and general maintenance. Must have knowledge of products pertaining to types of paint, solvents and thinners, caulk, putty, patching compounds, and which product belongs on proper surface. Must be able to read paperwork including but not limited to, a map for directions to jobsite and be able to read and understand the job scope. Must be able to run and direct a job and crew to specific tasks in order for the job to run in a professional and timely manner.
Individual must have a positive attitude, must be able to work as a member of a team, comply with all Horizon policies and procedures, and work safely at all times.
